Independence Day!

 Week Two! We went to see Red, White, and Boom, the fireworks show in Rock Island. I was trying to get  a good picture of them and they were being silly.

Five Years Old!

Today we will begin Xander's 52 project. He is officially five years old!

There's just a few more than one... haha.

I was originally going to do a 365 project but I've decided that I can't commit to that right now, so I'm going to do a 52 week, I may end up posting more than one picture a week, but at the very least there will be one.

He's all grown up now, a big ol' five year old!

First post! "My New School!"

Today began a new journey for Xander, he's going to be going into Kindergarten officially in August. He'll be attending East Moline Christian School, so in order to further prepare him for that experience, we enrolled him in their summer school program. He was very excited to get out the door this morning, he's been "x"ing off days on the calendar waiting for the day that he started his "new school."

When we got there he really didn't want me to take any pictures, haha, he wanted to get inside immediately! Since it's only summer school I only forced him into ones standing by the sign. We'll get more when the Kindergarten school year starts.

A little side story, Zeke also went to East Moline Christian when he was little, and EVERY SINGLE PERSON at that school remembers him. When we went in to pay the tuition for this month, the Pastor asked for our last name and when I said "Morris" he goes "Oh yes! Ezekiel!" Lol. Then, when we meet Xander's teacher, Mrs. Jones, she asks his name, and pretty much has the same reaction. "Oh! Ezekiel Morris! Yes! My daughter had him in a class!"

So, the first post on the Xander X-Files and his very first day of school at his brand new school!
